Selma Blair Beitner (natural June 23, 1972) is an American actress. Blair's better known film roles were within Cruel Intentions (1999), which also starred Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Legally Blonde. Other recently she appeared alongside Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate in The Sweetest Thing (2002), and around Hellboy (2004).
Personal life
She was innate to the Jewish family in Southfield, Michigan with the Hebrew name Batsheva, & as a toddler tended to Hillel Day School and Cranbrook Kingswood school near Detroit, Michigan. She exposed at Kalamazoo College from 1990–1992, then transferred to the University of Michigan, where she earned her bachelor's degree in 1994. She as well attended a Stella Adler Acting School.
She has been married to Ahmet Zappa since 24 January 2004.
